Website legal information · Draft for operator review
Privacy Policy
Updated 8 October 2026
Scope
This policy covers the AuditorBooks marketing website and knowledge portal. The accounting application is separate and requires its own privacy notice. This website does not collect accounting passwords or host client books.
Information used
If contact delivery is enabled, the form sends your name, email, optional phone and firm name, profession, subject, message and consent to the configured email provider and recipient. The hosting platform may process technical request data. The contact limiter uses hashed request and email identifiers in short-lived counters.
Purpose and recipients
Enquiry information is used to respond to the request and protect the form from abuse. It is processed by the configured hosting, email and rate-limit services. Do not include client records, tax identifiers, passwords or confidential documents in a general enquiry.
Retention and requests
Production retention periods, processor details and the operating entity must be confirmed before public launch. The application does not maintain an enquiry database; accepted messages are handled by the configured email service and recipient mailbox. Contact the operator through the contact page to ask about access, correction or deletion. Unconfigured forms do not deliver messages.
Readiness for public launch
This notice requires operator review before publication. It does not claim that an unverified business has satisfied any legal obligation. The operator must configure its identity and contact details, verify actual service providers and data transfers, set retention rules and update this notice to reflect production processing.
